Hi there! We are Hannah and Angie (more recently known as the Barn Girls”) and we’re so excited to share our favorite space, The Barn at Bunker Hill, with all of you. But first, let’s get to know each other a bit better.
Angie is on the left, Hannah is on the right. And yes, we often end up wearing matching outfits with or without prior planning.
We’re a mother-daughter duo making this Barn business work, despite living 776 miles apart. Hannah currently lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming, while Angie basically lives in the Barn (or the house next to it…whatever). Through daily phone calls, texts, emails and Facetime, we coordinate all Barn rentals and events. We couldn’t do it alone though, and are lucky to have behind-the-scenes help from a group of awesome friends and family.
When we’re not talking to potential #bunkerhillbrides, giving barn tours or dreaming about the perfect Barn Wedding, we both have full-time day jobs. Hannah does resource development and marketing for the Boys & Girls Club in Cheyenne, and Angie works for a dermatologist in Iowa City. We both love our day jobs, but are lucky to have a second job that we love even more!
Through the process of renovating a barn & planning several weddings (including Hannah’s) in said Barn, we have acquired a certain amount of interest in all things related to Barn Weddings. (AKA we spend A LOT of time researching, talking about & daydreaming about Barn Weddings). So, we have decided to start writing down all these thoughts & ideas here to share with all of you!
We’ll be sharing some of our favorite Bunker Hill Barn weddings (and other events), but will also throw in some wedding/event planning tips, resources, updates and much more. Stay tuned!
